Dr. Xiao Song, Global Executive Vice President of Siemens, Chairman and CEO of Siemens China, recently visited Shanghai Jiao Tong University and had in-depth exchanges with Yang Zhenbin, Secretary of the Party Committee of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Both sides are discussing further reaching a new round of strategic cooperation on industry education integration. Zhu Xiaoxun, Executive Vice President of Siemens (China) Co., Ltd. and President of Siemens China Research Institute, and Zhu Xinyuan, Vice President of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, respectively signed a cooperation framework agreement on behalf of both parties.

According to the agreement, both parties will leverage their respective advantages in technology, platform, industry, and talent cultivation to continuously deepen cooperation. In terms of technological innovation and platform co construction, Siemens will collaborate with Puyuan Future Technology School of Shanghai Jiao Tong University to build a sustainable technology research center and a "Twin Towers" teaching practice center platform. In terms of talent cultivation, in conjunction with the Siemens Global Technology Innovation Ecological Partnership Program, Siemens will work together with the German Center of Shanghai Jiao Tong University to build a Sino German industry university research and application innovation consortium, creating a new model of Sino German cooperation in digital talent cultivation and innovation ecological construction under a new pattern, and further jointly promoting the construction of innovation ecology in the Yangtze River Delta region.
