During the 2023 China International Industrial Expo, Siemens officially presented the first "Zero Carbon Pioneer Award", with a total of 6 companies winning the award for their practical achievements in carbon reduction. On the occasion of the second anniversary of the release of Siemens China's "Zero Carbon Pioneer Plan", Siemens also announced several important measures to assist in low-carbon transformation of the industrial chain, aiming to accelerate sustainable development of China's industry through advanced technology, knowledge empowerment, and financial services from multiple dimensions.

In September 2021, Siemens launched the "Zero Carbon Pioneer Program" in China, leveraging its digital technology and cross disciplinary knowledge and experience to collaborate with partners to create an end-to-end zero carbon industry chain. To this end, Siemens will not only continue to implement energy conservation and carbon reduction in its own operations, but also strive to help over 500 key suppliers accelerate carbon reduction in China by 2025, assist tens of thousands of customers in dozens of industries in energy conservation and efficiency enhancement, and promote green and low-carbon transformation of the industry.
In May 2023, Siemens launched the first "Zero Carbon Pioneer Award" selection in China. According to Siemens' sustainable development value proposition, this award comprehensively evaluates the practices and achievements of enterprises in implementing their own green operations or empowering customers to green transformation from dimensions such as "energy efficiency and decarbonization", "resource efficiency and recyclability", and "people-oriented and social impact". The awards are presented by the National Climate Strategy Research and International Cooperation Center, KPMG China A joint evaluation committee is composed of experts from T Å V South Germany Group and Siemens. In addition, Siemens has officially launched the "Siemens Sustainable Development Special Support Financing Project", announcing that it will provide a special fund of 1 billion yuan to provide financing support for small and medium-sized enterprises and ecological partners engaged in low-carbon transformation.
Based on a deep understanding of the recent green new policies such as the EU Carbon Border Regulation Mechanism (CBAM) and the EU Power Battery Act introduced in overseas markets, Siemens and the China Institute of Electronic Information Industry Development jointly compiled the "White Paper on Green Sailing for Enterprises", which was officially released during the International Trade Fair. This white paper provides a deep understanding of the impact of policies related to overseas markets on enterprises' export business, and helps enterprises formulate reasonable strategies, strengthen technological innovation, and better expand overseas markets. At the same time, Siemens relies on SiGREEN's reliable carbon footprint actuarial and traceability solution to launch green and low-carbon services for enterprises going overseas, helping export enterprises meet the requirements of overseas markets for carbon footprint disclosure of exported products, and helping enterprises build a new type of green and low-carbon competitiveness.
